Bone Truss Bridge (BTB) Cadaver Training by Dr Henri Diederich

Dr Henri Diederich will lead this exclusive Bone Truss Bridge (BTB) Cadaver Training. Invest in this transformative 2 day training to elevate your implantology expertise and your implant practice. The Bone Truss Bridge Cadaver is specifically designed for experienced practitioners seeking to refine their skills, master advanced techniques, and stay at the forefront of modern implant dentistry. This hands-on course will empower you to deliver superior outcomes for your patients applying the BTB protocols.

A strong advocate of bone-driven implantology. Dr Diederich emphasizes principles rooted deep in minimal invasive implant dentistry. The Bone Truss Bridge approach aims to provide patients with a long-term functional solution whilst reducing treatment times and offering a more comfortable patient experience. Application of the Bone Truss Bridge (BTB) combine implantology with sound principles of structural engineering and load bearing capacity.

This intensive 2 day training will explore the anatomy, handling limited bone conditions, pterygoid and trans-nasal implants, traditional vs compressive implants, implant placement configuration, enhancement of stability, suitability for immediate or delayed loading. Delegates will explore the impression process both digital and analog, understand the dental lab requirements to deliver the Bone Truss Bridge (UK lab partners will present).

After the BTB intensive 2 day training practitioners will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently apply the BTB protocols including Pterygoid and Trans-Nasal implants. You will discover the No Sinus-lift and No Zygoma in the atrophied bone.

Mentorship - 6 months / 3 Patient Case (earlier of)
We want you to be successful in the application of BTB in your practice, to support you Dr Diederich will continue to guide delegates after the initial Cadaver training. You will be given the opportunity to share patient case, seek guidance on the treatment plan and implant placement. You will share your patient CBCT scans with Dr Diederich whom will provide guidance as to treatment considerations for the respective patient case.

Don't miss this opportunity to advance your practice and distinguish yourself and a leader in the dental implant field.

Bone Truss Bridge Concept

Inspired by Truss Bridges: The BTB concept is inspired by the design of truss bridges from the 1840s. The BTB applies similar structural   principles to dental implant placement in atrophied maxillae, creating "a similar approach...combining strength and efficiency distributing the load transferring forces down into the supporting abutments".

Advantage of BTB treatment option:

Minimally Invasive: BTB avoids the need for bone grafting and sinus lifts, making it a less invasive alternative to traditional methods. This is particularly important for patients who are elderly or have had previous failed procedures. The treatment typically takes around three weeks to deliver a final, screw-retained prosthesis.
Early Loading: The technique allows for early loading of the prosthesis, typically within 2-3 weeks post-operatively, significantly reducing overall treatment time and thus increasing patient satisfaction.
Strong Cortical Anchorage: The use of pterygoid and trans-nasal implants provides strong cortical anchorage, enhancing stability and distributing forces effectively, mirroring the function of a truss bridge.
Engineered Stability: The “Engineered Bow Truss Bridges are reliable when thoughtfully designed.
Simplified Complication Management: Thin, strategically placed implants lower the risk of trauma and simplify the management of any complications.
Reduced Risk of Morbidity: The BTB approach results in a less invasive, less complex, and less time consuming treatment.
